Attorney Maria K. Dyson is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Northern District of New York, and the State of New Jersey. Maria Dyson received her J.D. from the City University of New York Law School. At CUNY, Ms. Dyson was inspired to pursue a career in civil rights law after she took several civil rights courses and also participated in numerous student groups on campus, including serving as the President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and Moot Court.
Ms. Dyson also received her Bachelors of Science in Physics from St. John’s University. At St. John’s, she participated in a number of organizations dedicated to community service. After she graduated, she participated in the Vincentian Lay Missionary program, which organized summer camps for children in slum communities in Nairobi Kenya.
Ms. Dyson has a passion for science fiction novels and soccer, which she avidly pursues during her free time.
